The job: Create a new brand identity for a startup looking to teach leaders of all kinds
The team: Cozy on design
The fine folks at Lead With Purpose were starting a new company aimed at helping leaders of all kinds be more effective. They needed a polished, professional identity that they would feel proud showing to corporate clients, and that could extend into sub-identities for other kinds of leaders (parents, pastors, etc.).
We began with interviews, industry research, etymology studies, a competitive audit, and so on. This coalesced into a cogent, concise creative brief that served as a shared guide for the rest of the work (and should ideally still be useful as LWP continues to grow).
Polish & production
This started to get the client excited. After working closely with the client to hone in on a single direction, we went back to the shop to polish up the final logo treatment.
We provided three primary logo treatments (color, white, and dark) in two variations (gradated and flat), each in a variety of sizes and file formats:
We also provided a series of assets to use in Apple's App Store:
… and an accompanying “badge” for their graduating clients:
Finally, we developed an extensive styleguide to help steer the development of further collateral.
